Our company steel s.r.o. performs the method called cladding, which consists in welding on a superalloy, Inconel alloy 625. Cladding provides high protection of base material against various effects and its life is at least 10 years.
Other information:
Welding on a superalloy gives the material the ability to resist high stress, a wide range of temperatures or acid conditions. It is effective against extreme corrosion, oxidation and abrasion. Cladding is applied within nuclear, power and marine applications, in industrial boilers and in incineration plants when processing waste.
